Mint (Mentha spicata)

Mint is known as mentha spicate, a common medicinal herb useful to make many general products we use in our daily life like, toothpaste, food, candy, mouth freshener and also helpful to flavor and garnish vegetables, pork roast etc. According to Greek mythology it is called Minthe. It has almost 25 species or above. Mentha piperita or Pepper mint is the king of all mint. Menthol, obtained from different mint essential oil is a general component of cosmetics and perfumes and also useful for making medicines. It has been said that mint extracts has the ability to keep the mosquitoes away. Generally it has many benefits. It can heal indigestion, stomachache, anxiety, irritable bowl disorder, colic, vomiting and mostly it refreshes the body. Menthol has great anitiseptic and cooling circulation agents.

Mint is a wonderful medicine. I am a stage singer and I keep it in my pocket every time, to avoid any kind of my voice problem. It works utterly great.
